Nymphs
Origin: Non-Human in origin.
Lifespan: On average 200-300 years.
Subspecies: See Dryads
Ley Line Access: Able to tap a line; unable to see auras
Strengths: Physically powerful, nymphs can easily fight toe to toe with a living vampire, and have a great natural talent for controlling the air around them, although their ability to tap a line only gives them the ability to control air and not any ley line magical ability.
Weaknesses: Vulnerable to pollution, most nymphs died off in the industrial revolution and are still effectively asthmatic, leaving them out of breath and coughing if they spend too much time in unfiltered air.
Attributes: Protective of the environment and dependent to its continued protection, most nymphs are militant in the face of environmental atrocities and crimes.
Allies: Dryads. The cousin species is also affected by urban expansion.
Enemies: Elves and humans. Both species have a lack of regard for the effects of their industry growth which threatens the nymph and dryad numbers.

Nymphs are a race originally thought to have died out during the Industrial Revolution, they have trouble breathing even with today's less polluted air. They have the approximate strength and speed of a living vampire and have a great deal of control over air. Not much is unique to the race, as they have effectively fallen in with witches and other Inderland species. Primarily originating from East Asia, most are of Asian descent.
Dryads
Origin: Non-Human in origin.
Lifespan: On average 200- years.
Subspecies: See Nymphs
Ley Line Access: Unable to tap a line; unable to see auras
Strengths: Of average strength and speed, dryad strength is solely in their ability to prolong their life almost indefinitely by binding themselves to a focus item, traditionally trees. since the major urban growth of most cities, dryads have since turned to binding themselves to statues in ley lines to keep themselves alive.
Weaknesses: Vulnerable to deforestation, most dryads died off in the industrial revolution and are still low in numbers.
Attributes: Protective of the environment and dependent to its continued protection, most dryads are militant in the face of environmental atrocities and crimes.
Allies: Nymphs. The cousin species is also affected by urban expansion.
Enemies: Elves and humans. Both species have a lack of regard for the effects of their industry growth which threatens the nymph and dryad numbers.

Dryads are a race that originally bound themselves to trees, moving to statues placed on ley lines to avoid extinction due to deforestation. Despite this they have been rare since before the Turn. Dryads are a global species, but only a few handfuls of origin nationalities still exist due to different national attitudes about urban expansions. Most modern dryads are of Native American or African descent, with a runner up of Australian and New Zealand populations.
